Practices can be VERY different within Yoga

There are two main forms of Yoga


A 'Yin' style and a 'Yang' style


A 'Yin style of Yoga' is Soft and Gentle,

and suitable for those who want to improve

 their flexibility, and Calm their Minds


A 'Yang style of Yoga' is Physical and Hot;

suitable for those who want to create

strength and balance


The two classes on this page are suitable for complete Beginners.

However, if you have sensitive  joints,

or don't enjoy physical

exercise, choose Yin

What will you need?


A space where you can sit on the floor,

stand up, and put your arms and legs out

to the sides

Bare feet - take your socks off - feel the floor.

Wear something comfortable and stretchy

Have a drink of water to hand and maybe

 a towel. If you're trying the Yin class,

grab a few cushions from your sofa to make

 a cosy bed
